Rincon – Patricia Chapman Mardula, 79, passed away April 16, 2026.

The Chatham County native was a homemaker. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Stevens Chapman, Jr. and Retha Locke Chapman; husband, John Edward Mardula; sister, Betty Chapman; brothers, Carnell S. Chapman, William R. Chapman, John C. Chapman, Franklin Earl Chapman, Robert E. Chapman, Sr., Charles R. Chapman, Jackie L. Chapman, and Norman L. Chapman, Sr..

Survivors include her son, John Edward Mardula, Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda Farmer (Josh) and John Michael Mardula; great-grandchildren, Ella & Emma Farmer; brothers, Denny Chapman, Sr. (Nell) and Jerry J. Chapman; a number of nieces and nephews; best friend and caregiver, Ms. Casey.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 5 p.m. in the chapel with Major Kenneth Chapman officiating.

Interment services will be at Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Goshen, NY with her husband.
