Rincon – Patricia "Kay" Durrence Moody, 73, passed away April 13, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
The Tattnall County native was a member of Garden City Primitive Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clanton and Virginia Kennedy Durrence.
Survivors include her husband, Derryl S. Moody; children, Marty Moody, Marla Dyson, Michael (Cheryl) Moody, and Laine (Chris) Bragg; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne (Patsy) Durrence of Glennville; sister, Janice Dreggors (Freddie) of Plant City, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Elena Pimanova, her staff, and Kirsten Turner with Hospice Savannah.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Garden City Primitive Baptist Church.
Additional services will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Love's Chapel Primitive Baptist Church in Glennville.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
