Savannah-Mrs. Patricia Lewis, 82, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at The Place at Pooler.
Mrs. Patricia was born in Warrington, England to the late Owen & Lillian McDermott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Lewis, and a son, Stephen D. Lewis. She retired from GA Regional after 20 years of service. She was a loving mother and grandmother who always tried to teach her children to "Keep God first in your lives".
Survivors include her children, Lorene L. & Michael N. Lassiter of Guyton, Janet L. & Bobby G. Lane of Catula, Donald L. Lewis of Savannah, and Paul G. Lewis of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Patricia Ridgeway of Savannah, Shannon Taylor of San Diego, CA, David D. Lewis of Pooler, Danielle Lane of Tampa, FL, Christine Lane and Jessica Lane, both of Catula; nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Graveside Funeral and Burial: 2 p.m. on Monday at the Beaufort National Cemetery located at 1601 Boundary Street in Beaufort, SC. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
