Loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother "Mema"
Monday, July 18th, 2022, the last member of the Crawford family joined her loving husband, parents and siblings in their eternal home in heaven. Patricia Carol (Crawford) Taylor, 84 years young of Savannah, GA passed away after a long illness that she endured with grace and
dignity, surrounded by her loved ones.
Carol began her life on May 20th, 1938 in Savannah, her parents were the late Alva (Bell) and
Shelly H Crawford. Carol married the love of her life, Jerry Burrell Taylor, Sr. He was stationed at Hunter Army Airfield. They were married November 20, 1955 at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist.
Carol followed her loving husband, Jerry Burnell Taylor, Sr. to our Heavenly Father.
In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by a brother, Shelly (Buddy) Crawford; and two sisters, Shirley DeLorenzo and Gloria Fortson.
She graciously leaves behind her loving son, Jerry Burnell Taylor Jr. and wife Jan; her loving daughter, Shellie Boudreau and husband Richie; and her loving daughters, Karen Taylor and Donna Anderson; and her partner, Hector.
Her grandchildren are Nicholas Turner and wife Leila, Jason Turner, Jerry Taylor III and wife Norma, Justin Ross (deceased), Ashley Stembridge and husband Joey, Taylor Anderson, Lauren LeDonne and husband Brent, and Richard B Boudreau.
Her great grandchildren are Lillian, Evelyn, Emily, Evan, Victoria, Justin, Kaleigh, Kaleb, Austin, Ethan, Brooklyn and Addison as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
She loved dancing whenever she could. She loved the outdoors, fishing, crabbing, and blackberry picking on the railroad track with all of us in tow. Mom enjoyed making our Easter clothes and was very crafty.
Carol spent every ounce of energy she had caring, sharing, participating and supporting her immediate family. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Richmond Hill.
The visitation with family will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022 from 12 - 1 p.m. and a memorial mass will follow at 1 p.m. at The
Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 1745 Benton Blvd (located in what we know as Pooler than Savannah), Savannah, GA 31407.
