Patricia Lynn Waters, 59, of Pooler passed away Saturday September 18, 2021 in Memorial Health University Medical Center.

She was born February 1, 1962 in Augusta, GA.  She was an honors graduate of Savannah Technical College with degrees in Accounting and Medical Transcription.  She was preceded in death by her mother: Agnes Pearl Thrift; sister: Cheryl Diane Andrews.

She is survived by her husband: John Michael Waters; father: Earl Thrift; sisters: Rebecca Thrift Madden, Kelly Thrift Brannen, Pam Thrift Salter and Earlene Thrift VanWinkle; brothers: Keith Thrift and Randy Thrift; aunt: Myrl Moneyhan; number of nieces and nephews; members of the Thrift and Littleton families.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Gary Sinise Foundation in her memory.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday September 23, 2021 from 6-8 at Thomas C. Strickland and Sons Funeral Home, West Chatham Chapel located at 901 W. US Hwy 80 Pooler, GA.
