Obituary
Pooler-Mrs. Patti Jane Simmons, 71, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Patti was born in Bellville, GA and retired from Gulfstream. She loved flowers and was a member of the Pooler Garden Club. She also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading, camping, fishing and crabbing. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Peavy Sims and a grandson, Josh Stafford.
Survivors include her husband, Neal Simmons; children, Jill & Steve Olsen of Cummings, GA, Jamie Stafford of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Jody Stafford of Rincon; step-son, Scott Simmons of Clyo; grandchildren, Chance Stafford and Christy Simmons; father, John Sims of Garden City; sisters, Cindy & Kenny Robinson of Midlothian, VA, Sandy & Tom Butler of Conyers, Lynda & Bobby Sanders of Pooler and Amanda & Lindy Webb, Jr. of Garden City as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that remembrances be given to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416 (hospicesavannah.org)
