Paul Kirsten Parr
Springfield – Paul Kirsten Parr went to join the heavenly choir, October 25, 2017.
Paul was born in Savannah, Georgia, February 21, 1971. He was an accomplished musician, songwriter, and vocalist. Paul's life was centered around his family and his music. He played and sang at many places throughout Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. He wrote and recorded two CD's in Nashville which reflected family and life experiences. Paul switched to gospel music when he became born again in Christ. When Paul sang you could feel his love for the Lord. If you were to ask Paul, he would tell you his greatest accomplishments in life were finding Christ and his three children, Austin, Greyson, and Savannah.
Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Kay Frawley Newsome.
He is survived by his father, Larry (Margaret); his brothers, Larry, Jr., Jimmy (Suzanne); and his children, Austin of Florida, Greyson and Savannah of Summerville, SC. Paul is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Mizpah United Methodist Church Cemetery, Clyo-Kildare Road, Clyo, Georgia.
