Mr. Paul L. Stafford, 73, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Hospice Savannah.

Paul was born in Savannah, Georgia to the late Zachary Stafford and Mary Butler Stafford.  He served his country during Vietnam in the United States Army.  He enjoyed coaching Ron's baseball and T-ball teams.  He enjoyed going to and watching car shows on TV, as well as fishing and watching golf on TV.  He retired from the City of Savannah having worked in the Air Condition and Plumbing Maintenance Department.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Jeanette Davis Clemons Stafford; children, Ron Stafford (Gwendolyn), Brian Clemons (Amber), Brandon Clemons (Tonya), Michelle Markles (Mike) and Ricky Clemons, Jr.; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; niece, Pam Tyler (Mike); nephew, Ricky Rodi (Trish); great nephew, Zachary Tyler (Christine), and Paul's dogs, Radar and Sierra.

The visitation will be on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral to honor Paul's life will be on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Greenwich Cemetery.
