Paul Gregory Thomas, 61, of Ellabell, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Paul was born in Savannah to the late Alvin Nelson Thomas, Sr. & Ruth Minus Thomas.  He was the youngest of seven children, and was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tina Thomas, three grandchildren and three siblings.  He was a Deacon and member at Bethel Baptist Church.  He was a mechanic, and enjoyed fishing, playing cards and throwing darts.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy Thomas of Ellabell; children, Karen Mixon (Robert "Bubba") of Faulkville, Paul Thomas (Christy) of Effingham County, Shannon Hardin (Chris) of Bulloch, Ashley Riner (Bryan) of Savannah, Crystal Bryant (Josh) of Garden City, Kasey Watson (Justin) of Hinesville; grandchildren, Jonathan Ledger, Patricia Hardin, Cheyene Hardin, Nicholas Thomas, Alex Thomas, Samara Bryant, Alyssia Bryant, Scarlett Bryant and Breanna Riner; sisters, Nancy Mintler of Metter and Brenda Adams of North Carolina; brother, Gilbert Thomas of Faulkville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Bethel Baptist Church located at 1295 Little Neck Road from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.  The funeral will follow at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary with Brother Eddie Deas officiating.  The pallbearers will be Paul Thomas, Bryan Riner, Gilbert Thomas, Jr., Phillip Thomas, Steven Tigue, Joshua Bryant, Justin Watson, Bill Sheffield and James Keasler.  Burial will follow at Immanuel Baptist Church Cemetery on Highway 80 near Brooklet.
