Paula Zittrouer Blalock

Bluffton, SC – Paula Zittrouer Blalock, 87, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025 at Vineyard Bluffton.

The Effingham County native was a homemaker and a member of Springfield Baptist Church. She lived a life of devotion to her Lord, volunteering, gardening, and taking care of her yard, sons, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Blalock; parents, Herbert & Grace Zittrouer; and sister, Trellis Phillips.

She is survived by her sons, Mitch Blalock (Donna) and Stan Blalock (Lisa); five grandchildren, Katibeth, Mason, Jim, Ashley, and Scott; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Herbia Thompson (Emerson); a brother, H.P. "Buzzy" Zittrouer (Sue); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 3-4 pm Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 4 pm Thursday, July 24, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will be private.
