Mrs. Pauline M. Boxxe, 71, of Meldrim, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

She was born in Treutlen County to the late Albert Dewey and Rosa Barwick Monroe.  She worked several years in civil service with the Department of the Army.  She was a member of the Savannah Holy Church of God and she enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Freddie Boxxe of Meldrim; sister, Geraldine Mitchell of Ellabell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Sue Monroe of Millen, Billy and Virginia Monroe of Eden, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
