Rincon, GA / Lake View, AL – Pearson Ashley Riley, Jr., 68, passed away November 16, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital.

The Effingham County native retired from Jim Walters Resources.  He was an active member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church where he previously served on several committees.  He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, and a published author.  He was a graduate of E.C.H.S. class of 1972, Middle GA College, and GA Southern University.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearson Ashley Riley, Sr. and Lorene Owens Riley; grandchildren, Austin, Gage, Flint, and Gunner Jones.

Survivors include his step-son, Brandon Jones (Melinda); grandchildren, Tyce Jones and Asher Jones; sisters, Paulette Riley Gebhardt (Guy) and Debbie Riley Marques (Joe); a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Jerusalem Lutheran Church followed by funeral services at 11 a.m.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
