Mrs. Peggy F. Edmunds Cobb, 88, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at The Resorts at Pooler.
She will be missed by her son and two daughters-in-law, Eric B. Edmunds (Judy L.) and Judy L. Edmunds; grandchildren, Sarah Roszkowiak, Adrienne Voos, Christopher Todd and Kelly Sartory; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Darwin "Loachie" Fordham, Burnie Fordham, and Randy Fordham, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was born in Brooklet, Georgia. She was preceded in death by two husbands, William Carlton Edmunds and Robert Edward Cobb; a son, Patrick N. Edmunds; a great-grandson, Stephen Costa; her parents, Burnell Fordham and Isabell DeLoach Fordham, and a brother, Ronald Fordham. She retired after many years of service from Bank of America. She will be remembered for being outgoing, a giving person, and for being a loving mother. She enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing and crabbing.
The visitation will be on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Upper Black Creek Church located at 2925 Mud Road, Brooklet, Georgia. The funeral to honor Peggy's life will follow at 10 a.m. in the sanctuary of the church with Pastor Keith Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
