Mrs. Peggy J. Haskins, 67, of Pooler, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home .

She was born in Bloomington, IL and was preceded in death by her parents, William Nieslawski & Betty Ratcliffe Smith.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bloomingdale where she went on numerous mission trips and provided secretary relief.  She donated time to the Savannah Baptist Center where she also served on the Board of Trustees.  She was a faithful follower of Christ.  She retired from the Chatham County District Attorney's office after 27 years of service.  She proudly served her country in the U.S. Air Force

Survivors include her husband, Frank E. Haskins; son, Juan Joy; step-sons, Steven Haskins and Michael Haskins; grandchildren, Brittany, Kenneth, Madison, Ian and Joshua; sister, Nancy J. Cribbett; brother, Harvey Nieslawski and several nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, December 27th from 10 until 11 at the funeral home followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home located at 901 W. Hwy. 80 in Pooler.  Burial will be private.
