Peggy Ann Wood Oliver

Guyton, GA- Peggy Ann Wood Oliver, 79, died September 23, 2018 at Effingham Care Facility.

The Burke County native was a retired bus driver with the Effingham County Board of Education. She was a wonderful mother that loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles P. and Bertha Ellison Wood; her sister, Mary Bell Wood Jenkins; and her brothers, William T. Wood and Joe Billy Wood.

Survivors include her children, Joe B. "Randy" Oliver, Jr. (Julie E.); daughters, Linda Oliver Rountree (Bubba), Lisa Oliver Longworth, and Laura Ann Oliver; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Effingham Care Center for their compassionate care of Mrs. Oliver.

Visitation: 10 -11 am Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Thursday, September 27, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.

Graveside service: 3 pm Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Burke Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro.

Remembrances: Alzheimer's Association or Hospice Savannah.
