Mrs. Peggy Ann Sims, 86, of Ellabell, Georgia, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at home.

Peggy was born in Indiana to the late Don Hubert Hoffman and Blanche White Hoffman.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Ernest Watson Sims, Sr., her son, Ernest Watson Sims, Jr. "Ernie", sisters, Gail Dixon and Betty Eisenhart, and her brother, Don Hoffman.  She was a member of South Newington Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary K. Bacon (Stanley) and Mae Harrelson (Mark); grandchildren, Amy Aguilar, Shannon Carter, and Misty Jarrell; a number of great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Tirpak, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Peggy's life will follow at 11 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
