Perry Morris Boxxe, 65 died Monday, December 7, 2015 after a long battle with heart disease. He was a life resident of Pooler, Georgia and a life member of Pooler First Baptist Church, although inactive for the past few years. He is preceded in death by his father, George Morris Boxxe of Pooler. Morris served over thirty years in the home health care field providing exceptional care to his patients and comfort and peace of mind to their loved ones. He has served lovingly and diligently as his mother's primary care giver for the past eight years. Next to his love for his family and friends, his greatest joy was gardening. God blessed him with a super green thumb. Morris was the kind of person who only comes along once in a very long while. He never possessed wealth as wealth is measured. His riches were his gifts of compassion, generosity, honesty and caring not only for his fellow man, but animals as well. He was an avid animal lover and advocate. He will be sorely missed by all that were blessed to have known him. Morris is survived by his mother, Ruby Burgsteiner Boxxe of Pooler, one sister Donna B. and husband Patton Thomas of Bloomingdale, one brother, Douglas and wife Janie Boxxe of Rincon, one niece, Nicole Thomas, three nephews, Chad Thomas of Rincon, Jarel Johnson and Brittany of Savannah, Aaron House and Kelly of Rincon, one great nephew Garrett Thomas of Wedowee, Alabama, one great-niece, Emma Thomas of Springfield, one aunt Mrs. L.
