Mr. Pete M. Grier, 80, of Bloomingdale, GA, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021.

He was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Hazel Monroe Grier and Edna Miller Dark.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Timothy Wayne Grier and a daughter, Teresa Martin.  He retired as an Executive Vice-President of Strachan Shipping Company.  He loved drag racing, Ford Mustangs, and spending time in the mountains.

Survivors include his children, Mark Grier (Karla) of Bloomingdale, GA, Karen Mast (Tim) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Peter Grier (Jennifer) of Ocala, FL; eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and his brother, Larry Grier (Gail) of Charlotte, NC.

The visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the funeral home with the funeral to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Ricky Rushing officiating.  Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
