Philip Arthur Brabant
Guyton- Philip Arthur Brabant, 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Guyton, Ga., on Wednesday, October 15th. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Marie Brabant, and is survived by his wife of 34 years, Candice Kohl. He is also survived by his sons, Christopher and Dustin, and his siblings, E. James, Anne, Ellen, Peter, Margaret, and Robert.
A native of Wisconsin, Phil was the leader of Boy Scout Troop 156 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Milwaukee. In Fayetteville, Ga., he attended St. Gabriel Catholic Church where he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed being an extra in movies and played an umpire in the film, "Major League."
He never learned how to load a dishwasher.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at his current parish, St. Boniface Catholic Church in Rincon, Ga., on Monday, October 20th, at 11:00 a.m.
