Guyton – Philip Allen McNear, 65, passed away September 3, 2024 at his residence.

The Chatham County native graduated from Savannah High in 1977 and played baseball on the State Championship team in 1976, he also enjoyed softball and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip N. McNear and Mary Wyll Stephens McNear; his son, Little Al "Bubba" McNear; his brother, Danny Jack McNear; and his great-granddaughter, Leilani Copeland.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debra McNear; daughter, Tiffany Hills (Cedric); son, Preston Cribbs; granddaughter, Tiana Copeland (Justin); great-grandchildren, Waylon Copeland and Marci Copeland; sister, Theresa McClellan (Scott); and several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held for the family.
