Obituary

Guyton- Phillis-Ann Hemmer, 60, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep on December 22, 2022 at her daughter's residence in Georgia.

She was born in Middlebury, Vermont. Eventually she moved to Florida in her early 20s, where she raised her children. Family was everything to her and she was wholly devoted to them. She always had a house full of animals. She enjoyed her crocheting, woodworking, and arts & crafts.

She was predeceased by her husband, Pete Hemmer, whom she lost to cancer this past April. They did everything together. Even after being diagnosed with cancer, she cared for him at home as well as when he went into hospice, and she refused to leave his side. She was devasted by this loss and grieved it till the day she joined him in heaven.

She was survived by her children, Chrissy (Paul) Hedtke, Carrie-Ann Seidel, Mark Gariepy. Later in life she became the mother of her late husband, Pete Hemmer's children, Amy (David) Eissler, and Andrea (Gary) Yun; grandchildren, Kasie-Ann Seidel, Alyssa-Ann Seidel and Richard Gariepy; parents Joyce (Robert) Hubbell; brother, Chuck (Annette) Delphia; sister, Tammy Zalubski and her dog, Holly Bear.

Phillis requested no services, but for everyone to raise a glass and share a special moment with her. We lost you so suddenly, you will be in our hearts and missed deeply till we meet again.
