Blitchton-Mrs. Phyllis L. Googe, 71, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Phyllis was born in Barnwell, SC to the late Cecil & Sarah Dyches. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl L. Googe. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, Charles Patrick; brothers, William C. Dyches and Michael Dyches; sister, Cecelia Kearse and several nieces and nephews.
The visitation for Mrs. Phyllis will be from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at the funeral home.
The graveside funeral and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Effingham Memorial Gardens located at 880 Hwy 119 South, Springfield, GA.
