Pink Wayne Ranew
Guyton – Pink Wayne Ranew, 50, passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Chatham County native was employed by the GA Ports Authority. He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney Paul Ranew and Sara Loyce Brown Ranew.
Survivors include his wife, Darinda Sue Ranew of Guyton; step-son, David Kristopher Baxter of Guyton; grandchildren, Austin, Cameron, and Andrew; brother, Sidney Paul Ranew, Jr. of Savannah; sisters, Rose Ranew Rossiter of Plant City, FL, and Lisa Ranew Legarreta of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel.
Graveside services will be 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery near Baxley.
