Mr. Quinton Hathcock, 74, of Sylvania, passed away Monday, May 14, 2018.  Quinton was born August 25, 1943 in Savannah, GA and was the son of the late William Gordon and Vonnie Mae Hathcock.  Mr. Hathcock graduated from Groves High School and then obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Georgia Tech in 1966.  Since his retirement he has enjoyed hunting and fishing with his favorite brother-in-law, Bobby.  He also loved to travel, hike National Parks and play penny slots.  Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Hiler (husband, Ron) of California; a son, Mark Hathcock of Americus, GA; sisters, Sandra Hathcock of Dallas, GA and Marsha Fail (husband, Bobby) of Guyton, GA; nieces, Christina and Samantha; grandchildren, Megan and Emma; great-nephew, Hunter and 2 great-nieces, Sabrina and Charli.  The graveside funeral and burial to honor Quinton's life will be on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Gravel Hill Cemetery located on Highway 80 in Bloomingdale with Rev.
