Obituary
Mr. R. Marcus Adams, Jr., 86, of Garden City, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Adams was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Camellia Society, an avid gardener , and retired from Union Camp.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Lois M. Adams; children, Russell M. Adams, III, Melanie (Shelly) Dixon, and Betsy (Greg) Hinson; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be given to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 41 Main Street, Garden City, GA 31408.
