Rachel R. Myrick
Guyton – Rachel R. Myrick, 86, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Abercorn Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
She was born in Moulton, AL, and was a native of Meldrim. She was a member of Guyton United Methodist Church and retired from Candler General Hospital after 38 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rachel McCathren Royer and Ennis Royer; husband, Skinner Crapps; brothers, John Royer and J.C. Royer.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, James W. Myrick of Guyton; sisters, Margie Hodges of Savannah, Wilma Greene of Spartanburg, SC, and Austine Smith of Rincon; brothers, F.D. Royer of Meldrim; a step-son, Tim Myrick of Savannah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. in the chapel.
Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
