Guyton – Ralph Daniel "Woody" Brewster, 74, passed away Thursday November 30, 2023 at Effingham Care Center.

The Tazewell, VA native was retired from Savannah Tire after over 30 years. He was a US Army Vietnam veteran who loved camping and the outdoors. Woody had coached many youth sports teams as well as church league softball, but mostly enjoyed watching his grand kids play ball. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Martha Brewster.

Woody loved big and loved hard. To know him was to love him and if he loved you, well you knew it. He was a Son, a Father, a Pop, an Uncle, a Grandpa and a friend to many. He was the life of the party and always tried to make sure everyone was happy and laughing and having a good time. He never met a stranger.  We know he is eating steak and crab legs now.

Survivors include his children, Melissa Ann Thompson (Andrew) and Randy Brewster (Laura); grandchildren, Dalton, Lane, Whitney, Karson, and Kyle; brother-in-law, Danny Ambrose (Ann); and several nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Visitation: 4-6 pm Sunday, December 3, 2023 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 am Monday, December 4, 2023 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Private
