Mr. Ralph Edward Davis, 86, of Savannah, passed away on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Memorial Health University with his family by his side.

He was born March 11, 1932 in Savannah, GA to the late Charles C. and Lori D. Davis.  Mr. Davis graduated from Carlisle Military School in Camden, SC and enlisted in the Army.  He served for two years in Germany during the Korean Conflict.  He was a charter member of Chapel-in-the- Gardens Presbyterian Church in Garden City, GA and he retired from National Gypsum Company, where he worked for 42 years.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Daisy Cleland Davis; two sons, Mark F. Davis (Catherine) and Bruce E. Davis (Karen); grandchildren, Marcus Davis, Diana Shrader (Caleb) and Lance Davis and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home in Pooler.

Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday at Chapel-in-the-Gardens Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
