Rincon – Ralph V. White, 86, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at his residence after a short illness.

The Chatham County native was a retired Boilermaker with Local #26. He loved fishing and held the GA State record for Sheepshead. He also loved the GA Bulldogs and Nascar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Mark White, Jr. and Madeline White; his wife, Maybell White; and son, Richard V. White.

Survivors include his daughters, Kathy L. Smith (Richard Crockett) and Brenda W. Morris (Scotty); brother, George White; a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Barbara LaRotonda (Henry Doctor) and Linda Pierce (Alvin).

Visitation will be 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 1 p.m. in the chapel.

Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
