Springfield – Randall Allen Spivey, Sr., "Pepa" "La" 62, passed away August 31, 2021 at his residence.

The Chatham County native retired from International Paper after 40 years of service.  He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and was a longtime member of the Laurel View Hunting Club.  He was very spontaneous, enjoyed cooking, and loved his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby J. Spivey, Sr.; son, Randall Allen Spivey, Jr.; brother, Ronald Spivey; and grandson, Jameson Dickerson.

Survivors include his wife, Becky Spivey; children, April Spivey Smith (Nick), Rachel Allyn Spivey (Taylor Michael Halpin), and Sarah Jordan Spivey; step-children, Josh Dickerson, Christine Jordan (William), and Zachary Dickerson; grandchildren, Dallas Lee McBrayer, Memphis Autumn Danielle McBrayer, Emily Catherine McBrayer, Pierce Jordan, Mayleigh Jordan, and Ally Dickerson; great-grandchild, Zayden Oliver; his mother, Mabel Z. Spivey; siblings, Bobby J. Spivey, Jr. (Kathleen), Donald Spivey, and Pamela Cartee (Caleb); and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services will be 4 p.m. Sunday, September 5, 2021 in the funeral home chapel.
