Rastus Hendrix, Sr.

Eden - Rastus Hendrix, Sr., 74, died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Candler Hospital.

Born on September 10, 1935 in Rocky Ford to the late Lyman Hall Hendrix and Bertie
Mae Finch Hendrix, Rastus retired from Derst Bakery.

Survivors include his children, Janet and Chuck Clark of Forest Park, Rastus and Tracy
Hendrix, Jr. of Loganville; step-daughter, Lisa Axtell of Wisconsin; 12 grandchildren; 14
great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Hendrix of Savannah; sisters, Evelyn Mullins of
Savannah and Christine Yeager of Millen; and longtime best friend, Rhonda Scott of
Eden.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Hendrix Family Cemetery in Rocky Ford.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday with memorial services following at 6 p.m. in
the chapel.
