Mr. Ray E. Roberson, 80, of Rincon and formerly of Pooler, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2018 under hospice care.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie & Alice Roberson, his wife, Wanda Edna Roberson, a sister, Margaret, and a brother, Frank Roberson.  He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of Faulkville Baptist Church.  He was a truck driver for many years, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children and their spouses, Tina & Michael Davis, Billy & Christina Roberson; grandchildren, Ashley, John Ray, Keturah, Taylor and Teresa; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Madeline Whitfield; several nieces and nephews; very significant other, Sarah Martin.

Visitation: 6-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 4 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
