Ellabell-Mr. Ray Gordon Kangeter, Sr., 64, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Ray was born in Pembroke to the late George Martin & Maude Kangeter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Annie Ruth Kangeter, a son, Harold C. Floyd, III, two sisters, and a brother. He was a member of South Newington Baptist Church, a GA Bulldog fan, and a Muscle Car enthusiast.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Ray G. Kangeter, Jr. & Elizabeth; four grandchildren; sisters, Sherley Walker, Barbara Jenkins (Lee), and Peggy Hilliard (Dean); brother, Thomas Kangeter (Wanda); a number of nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.
The visitation will be on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home from 12:30 until 1:30, with the funeral to follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
