Obituary

Mr. Rayford W. "Pete" Barnwell

Pooler-Mr. Rayford W. "Pete" Barnwell, 77, died on Sunday, July 29, 2007 at St.
Joseph's Hospital surrounded by his family.

Mr. Barnwell was born in Screven County and had lived in Pooler for a number of years.
He retired after 20 years of faithful service to his country from the United States Army.
He was the owner/operator of Barnwell Appliance Service and Triple B Ranch. He was a
Methodist and he loved horse's.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Esma L. Barnwell of Pooler; two sons and
daughters-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Rayford Wayne Barnwell of Rincon and Mr. & Mrs.
Gregory Lee Barnwell of Pooler; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; sister,
Luree Thompson of Bloomingdale; brother, Morgan Larry Barnwell of Port Wentworth
and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Costrini, Dr. Claude Su, Dr. David Cheng
and Dr. Christopher Kuettner for their support.

Visitation: 7-10 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at
Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery on Dean Forest Road with full military honors.
