Raymond Howard

Rincon- Raymond Howard, 84, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Memorial Health.

The Birmingham, Alabama native was former owner of Howard's Insurance Agency and a member of First Baptist Church of Americus before relocating to Rincon in 1999. He loved to hunt, fish, garden, feed the hungry and be active in his grandchildren's lives. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Z. and Willie Mae Howard; son, Raymond "Ray" Howard, II; sister, Virginia Sheffield; son-in-law, Joseph D. Epperson, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Howard; two children, Connie Epperson and Mark D. Howard (Ivy); step-daughter, Ashley A. Boland (Jason); daughter-in-law, Darlene Howard; brothers, Robert Howard (Fayetta), Jerry Paul Howard, and Kenneth Howard (Trica); grandchildren, Glenn, Christina, Taylor and Katie Howard, Jackie Dill, Jamie Epperson, Tanner, Luke, and Finn Boland; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation: 10 -11 am Friday, June 8, 2018 in the funeral home.

Funeral Service: 11 am Friday, June 8, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery in Richmond Hill.
