Meldrim-Mrs. Reba Stanford Hales, 68, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Hospice Savannah.
Mrs. Reba was born in Brooklet to the late Mitchell Hudson Stanford and Rosalee Williams Stanford. She was a member of Meldrim United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Arnold Hales, a son, James Daniel Hales and several brothers and sisters. Survivors include her daughters, Vicki and Robert Howard and Cheryl and Michael Moody; grandchildren, Robert and Lisa Howard, Parker McDaniel, Josh, Taylor and Michaela Moody; great-grandchildren, Trey and Tyler Howard; sisters, Jaquita "Ann" and Bennie Porier and Bobbie Johnson; brother, Mitchell and Teresa Stanford and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
