Clyo - Reba Kennedy Morgan, 80, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at Memorial Health surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 2, 1927 and celebrated her 80th birthday this month.
Mrs. Morgan will be remembered by everyone she knew for her sweet and loving personality. Her goal in life was to do something good for someone everyday. She was a volunteer for the Manna House Ministries, Meals on Wheels, and had worked at Joann's Florist. Mrs. Morgan was a member of Clyo United Methodist Church. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Dennis M. Morgan, her parents, one sister, and 3 brothers.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Danny Harden, Joyce and Bob Bonner, Marcia and Eddie Davis all of Clyo; her devoted and loving best friend, Larry Hendricks of Rincon; grandchildren, Morgan Webb, Les Harden, Angie Hitchens, Jana Austin, Eddie Davis, Jr., Jaime Hossalla, Amy Trowell, Alicia Gibbs; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Blanche Smith, Bobby Coppage, Mary (Tinkie) Porter; brother, Henry Kennedy; sisters-in-law, Miriam Shurling and Dixie Burdette; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Clyo United Methodist Church with Rev. Al Fernandez and Chuck Yarley officiating.
Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
