Rebecca "Becky" (Kirby) Davis, 54, of Guyton, Georgia passed away on December 14, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

Becky was born in Keflavik, Iceland and had lived in the Chatham/Effingham area for most of her life.  She was preceeded in death by her father-in-law, Calvin J. Davis; grandparents, Francis and Becky Crawford, Herman J. and Estelle Parker Kirby; sister-in-law, Charlotte Driggers; brother-in-law, Richard Driggers, and a nephew, Kevin Driggers.  Tim and Becky were gifted 35 years of marriage full of love, laughs, and three wonderful children.  She was a stay-at-home mom and decided to go to college since she wanted to be a teacher.  She graduated from college and taught science and English.  She loved Disney, Harry Potter, and Star Wars, essentially she was a big nerd according to her sister.  She enjoyed going camping, going to the mountains, she was a good cook and she was crafty.  She was a proud organ donor and would have been so happy that she helped save several lives.

She is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Davis; children, Andrew Davis (Becca), Allison Bridge (Sterling), and Parker Davis (Meghan); she was a proud Grammy to her sweet girl, Aurelia Grace Bridge; her parents, Ken and Mona Kirby; sisters, Jennifer Kirby and Katie King (Jon); nieces and nephews, Emma and Lacey Talley, Troy Davis, Rusty Davis (Emily), Amanda Smith (Jacob), Kenneth Driggers (Cassidee) and Sharon Montgomery (Roy); mother-in-law, Mary Louise Davis; brother-in-law, Frank Davis (Kim); a number of aunts, uncles and cousins and her fur babies, Shadow (deceased), Lizzie (deceased), Bella (deceased) and Violet.

The visitation will be on Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.  The funeral to honor Becky's life will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Martin Fuller officiating.  The burial will follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
