Springfield – Rebecca Carr Thomas, 78, passed away February 18, 2025 at Memorial Health.

The Ohio native graduated in 1965 at Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, OH. She moved to Georgia in the mid 1980's and was married to Daniel Thomas in 1989. Rebecca loved her family, going to movies, reading, playing computer games, and watching cooking shows. Before her health wouldn't let her, she really enjoyed baking homemade cookies and caramel corn at Christmas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Thomas; and her parents, Tom & Katherine Carr.

She is survived by her children, Tracey Ross (Bill), Kim Duncan, Thomas Duncan (Jamie), and Christina Thomas; brother, Steve Carr (Mary Jane); sister, Sara Berry; 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be 11 am Friday, March 14, 2025 in the funeral home chapel.
