Springfield – Reuben "Rudy" Jenkins, III, 52, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023.

The Effingham County native was an owner/operator with Rudy's Hauling. He attended Hwy 30 Church of Christ and was a lifelong truck driver and former stevedore with Georgia Ports Authority. He loved spending time with his children, family, and friends grilling and being at the lake.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Jenkins; children, "Little Rudy" Jenkins, Kenzie Jenkins, Brady Jenkins, and Kristen Usry; grandchildren, Vayda Lynn Jenkins and Layla Mae Jenkins; parents, Reuben Jenkins (Kathy) and Barbara Fennell; siblings, Deborah Ann Goodrich (Chuck), Newt Doyle (Pam), Scotty Jenkins, Russell Jenkins, and Lori Brown; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Thursday, February 23, 2023 in the funeral home.

Funeral: 10 am Friday, February 24, 2023 in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Hillcrest Abbey West
