Mr. Reuben Earl Smith, Sr., 67, of Savannah, GA, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

He was born in Waycross, GA and was preceded in death by his father, Walter R. Smith, and his wife, Riba Glisson Smith.  He was a life-long mechanic, the owner/operator of Smith's Garage, and enjoyed fishing in his spare time.

Survivors include his children, Robert Teigue (Gwendolyn), Reuben E. Smith, Jr. (Tonya), and Richard A. Smith (Danyelle); mother, Sherma Smith; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Gary and Gregory Smith, and Sharon Longworth; several nieces, nephews,  cousins, and his fur babies, Fefe, Tank Tank, Poochie Pooch, and Maggie.

The visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the funeral home.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 in the chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Wayne Owens officiating.  Burial will follow at Bonaventure Cemetery.
