Rich Eckman
Rincon – Rich Eckman, 56, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Candler Hospital.
The Illinois native was a member of Independent Presbyterian Church and was CEO of International Greetings U.S.A.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Henry Eckman; and sister, Susan Robison.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Eckman; daughters, Allie and Katie Eckman; mother, Catherine Eckman; sister, Betty Brockman; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Strickland Funeral Home, 2460 Hwy. 21 South, Rincon, GA 31326.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Independent Presbyterian Church at the corner of Bull and Oglethorpe Streets in Savannah. Mr. Eckman will lie in state from 1 p.m.
Interment will follow in Rincon Cemetery located on Lexington Ave. in Rincon, GA.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mayo Clinic Jacksonville, FL to Lung Cancer Research.
