Savannah-Ricky Edwards, age 54, of Savannah, passed away September 25, 2017 after eleven and a half years of brain cancer. A Savannah native, Ricky was a 1981 graduate of Calvary Baptist, and a member of the Methodist Church, and retired following a career at I P. Ricky was a people-person who never met a stranger. He is survived by his parents, Vonnette and Mac Sampey; daughter, Macy; son, Drew (Audra); grandsons, Nate and Sam; sisters, Wendy (Steven), Celeste (Terry), and Marcy; brother, Brad (Betsy); nieces and nephews, Daniel, Dustin, Tracy, Will, Samantha, Katie, Summer, Naomi, Mary Beth; great-nephew, Rowan. The family will receive friends Thursday, 4:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Private entombment services at Bulloch Memorial Gardens will follow at a later date.
