Richard Arthur Heck

Rincon - Richard Arthur Heck, 59, died Friday, February 12, 2010 at Hospice Savannah.

The New York native lived in Colorado before moving to Rincon where he has lived the
past 22 years. He served in Vietnam in the U.S. Army, he was in the 173rd Airborne and
the Special Forces. He worked for T.I.C. for many years. He was preceded in death by
his father, Bernard Arthur Heck; and wife, Sharon Elizabeth McCann Heck.

Survivors include his mother, Anne Heck of Hiawassee; daughters, Jennifer (Aaron)
Tillinger of Atlanta, Magan (Allen) Davis of Guyton, Erin (Chuck Burnsed) Heck of
Statesboro; grandchildren, Austin and Katlyn Davis, and Aurora Heck; brother, Michael
Heck of Hiawassee; his uncle, Joseph Wolfort of Florida.

Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel.
