Richard (Rick) Hileman Vogeley was born in Atlanta, GA, June 15,
1959 and went to meet Jesus, September 8, 2025, following a battle
with cancer. Rick was predeceased by his wife Kathy Green Vogeley,
and parents Charles G. and Mary Anna Vogeley. Rick is also survived
by his sister, Patty A. Love
Rick grew up in Savannah on Wilmington Island and after
graduating from Sol C Johnson High School in Savannah, moved to
Tulsa, OK to attend the Spartan School of Aeronautics in 1978 and
then worked for Gulfstream.
In 1994 Rick moved to Geneva, Switzerland for a work
opportunity. In 1995 he began working for Coca-Cola in Atlanta.
Eventually moving back to Savannah, Rick returned working for
Gulfstream until he retired last year.
Rick married Kathy, the love of his life, in 2014. They enjoyed their
life together in Guyton with their dogs.
Rick and his wife Kathy were motorcycle enthusiasts and cofounders of the GA Down Biker Fund Charitable Organization,
helping over one hundred injured motorcyclists throughout their
tenure. Rick was also an active participant with the Patriot Guard
Riders for many years.
