Richard A. Johnson  "Boogerman", 68, of Vidalia, GA passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on July 26, 2025, at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA.

Richard was born in Savannah, GA but lived in Vidalia.  He was very honored in his role as a volunteer firearms trainer for police cadets and law enforcement. Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Johnson Sikes and sister, Denise Kiel.

Richard was lovingly married for 47 years to Renee Johnson.  Other family members include his sister, Lela McDonald (Michael); brother, James R. Sikes (Amanda); brother-in-law, Michael Kiel; brother-in-arms, Mark Rich of Richmond Hill, GA; and nieces and nephews, Lilah, Trent, Delaney, Ryan, David, and Andrew.

Richard's wishes were to be cremated.
