Richard "Dick" Leslie Lingenfelter, Jr.
Springfield – Richard "Dick" Leslie Lingenfelter, Jr., 76, passed away July 1, 2019 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife Linda Lingenfelter; daughters Carrie Lingenfelter and Laurie (Jeff) Womack; sons Phil Lingenfelter and Bill (Laura) Lingenfelter; grandchildren Kimberly Komoto, Laurie Sniffen, Justin Lingenfelter, Bryson Lingenfelter, Elise Lingenfelter, Matthew Womack and Robin Womack; great grandsons Zander & Zayden Komoto-Rafael; sisters Jane (Jim) Allen, Barbara Oldenburg, Sally (Lloyd) Lyle; sisters-in-law: Nancy Byrne, Marolyn (Rick) McElroy and Carolyn Gonzalez and numerous nieces and nephews.
The California native was a retired Aircraft Pilot and owner of Western Air. There was no limit to his interests, and he pursued life to the fullest. He had various careers in which he excelled at, he was an Aviator, Corporate Executive and Business Owner, Interstate Truck Driver and Property Investor. However, his greatest achievement in life was that of a husband to his wife Linda of 57 years and father to his four children, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Joan Lingenfelter, sisters Peggy Middleton and Mary Swardz, daughter-in-law Gail Lingenfelter and Granddaughter Madelyn Lingenfelter. Brothers-in-law Greg Swardz and Frank Byrne. Dick was a friend to all that knew him and he will be greatly missed.
