Richard Lee (Richie) Shearouse, Sr., 48, of Middleburg, FL went to be with our Lord on January 19, 2023.

He was a longtime resident of Effingham County and a graduate of Effingham County High School. Richie was an exceptional mechanic and welder. He was a beloved husband, brother, father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bruce Shearouse, Sr. and his mother, Joann Linda Berge.

Richie leaves behind his wife, Kristie Shearouse; two sons, Richard Lee Shearouse, Jr. and Johnny Alford; and a daughter, Madison Alford. He also leaves behind his siblings, Charles Bruce Shearouse, Jr. (Christy Dowd-Hanes), Bryan Shearouse (Dana), Jeremiah Shearouse (Jaime), Sean Shearouse, Nisa Judd, Joseph & Alexandria Gable. He leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great-nieces/nephews, and many friends.

Memorial Service: 3 pm Saturday, February 11, 2023 in the funeral home chapel with visitation an hour prior to the service. Following these services, anyone who wishes to join the family can stop by Richie's brother's house for stories, memories, and fireworks in honor of Richie.
