Bloomingdale-Mr. Richard "Rick" Silva, 49, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his home.
Rick was born in Valdosta and was employed with L3 Communications where he enjoyed working on helicopters. He was an avid fisherman and was preceded in death by his mother, Nan Sue Silva.
Survivors include his wife, Nadene Silva; son and daughter-in-law, Richard & Emily Silva; daughter, Brittany Nicole Silva; grandchildren, Dawson, Kaden and Natalie Silva; father, Richard F. Silva; brother, Mack (Lisa) Silva; sister, Michelle (Lonnie) Cooke and a large extended family.
Visitation: 5-8 p.m. on Thursday in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral: 10 a.m. on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
