Guyton – Richard Key Sprague, 79, passed away August 4, 2021 at Memorial Health.
The California native was a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired from the GA Ports Authority. He was a Mason and member of the Frank F. Baker #46 F & AM Lodge, the Alee Shriners, and past member of the Oriental Band.
His life passion was taking care of his beloved wife of 52 years. He enjoyed gardening, birdwatching, and attending his grandchildren's sporting events. He loved the Lord and prayed daily for all his loved ones. He is known for being a kind hearted, loving, caring man. Loved by all who met him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Key Sprague and Ava Wycker Sprague; and his brother John Allen Sprague.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Lee Brant Sprague; children, Richard Key Sprague, II "Ricky" (Jaime) and Chanin Pritchard (David); grandchildren, Richard Key Sprague, III "Trey" (Joy), Richard Tyler Sprague, Madison Sprague, Ryan Pritchard, and Cailin Pritchard; sister, Judy Dyer; sister-in-law, Nancy Sprague; several nieces and nephews; his two furbabies, Bella and Rascal.
